On Thursday it was stated that Kyle Walker-Peters is being eyed by Tottenham Hotspur.
A right defender for Southampton, who moved to the Saints from Spurs two years ago for £12 million, is reportedly on Spurs’ radar for the next January transfer window.
Walker-Peters started off his professional career with Tottenham, and it’s apparent that he maintains close relationships with some of his old team mates from that time.
Of course, Harry Kane made England’s World Cup roster on Thursday.
After that, the 29-year-old assassin sent a message on Instagram on being named captain, to which Walker-Peters replied.

The English defender simply responded, “Congrats bro!” to Kane.
Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, yet he has never won a trophy in his professional career.
Almost made it in 2021 when Gareth Southgate’s England team reached the final of Euro 2020, but they lost on penalties to Italy.
It would mean the world to Tottenham’s attacking player to have even more success in Qatar this time around.
Walker-Peters, on the other hand, will be cheering on his compatriots and possibly future colleagues from afar.
It would be fascinating to see whether the rumours regarding a return to Hotspur Way has any reality, since he has developed into a proven Premier League level player since leaving Spurs.
