Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney will reportedly leave the Gunners for Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.

According to The Times, Kieran Tierney is “expected” to leave Arsenal and move to Newcastle United in the summer of 2023.

Goal reported last week that Newcastle and Aston Villa are interested in the £110,0000-a-week (SalarySport) Scotland international left-back and could make bid bids for him.

Leaving Arsenal for Newcastle United good idea for Kieran Tierney

In our view, Kieran Tierney would be wise to leave Arsenal for Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.

The former Celtic left-back is not getting regular playing time at Arsenal at the moment.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta clearly prefers Oleksandr Zinchenko to Tierney.

Newcastle are a big club and are very likely to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.

Under Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), Newcastle have big ambition and plans for the future.

Yes, Arsenal are a big club and a global brand, but in the coming years, Newcastle could raise their status and establish themselves among the elite clubs in England.

Tierney is a very good left-back who could flourish under Eddie Howe at Newcastle.

The 25-year-old has made six starts and 19 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal this season.

The Scotsman has given one assist in those games.

Tierney also scored one goal in six UEFA Europa League and played once in the Carabao Cup and twice in the FA Cup for Mikel Arteta’s side this campaign,
