This is the latest Aston Villa News with Aston Villa head coach Steven Gerrard spending away one of his star who said he hates Rangers.
Conor Hourihane is a player Celtic should consider signing this summer – and not only because he despises Rangers.
After spending last season on loan at Sheffield United, the Republic of Ireland international has been released by Aston Villa under Steven Gerrard.
Hourihane hinted at his love for Celtic as a football club when he said that he ‘hates’ their Old Firm rivals Rangers back in 2017.
And as a Bosman, the 31-year-old might be interested in a return to Parkhead.

The question is if Ange Postecoglou requires his services, and the answer is that he may.
Postecoglou was cited in The Record last month as saying that he will sign another midfielder this summer.
“We still need to add another midfielder,” he remarked, “but the fact that we signed the youngsters in January implies they’re already assimilated into our club.” It provides us an advantage.”
Hourihane’s hatred for Rangers would make him an immediate hero in Glasgow, but the fact is that he is also a gifted footballer.
Remember, Celtic just lost Nir Bitton, and the Isarael international will require an experienced replacement.
Hourihane does not have Scottish Premiership experience, nor would he be a like-for-like replacement for Bitton, but he does have 173 Championship matches under his belt, as well as four Premier League goals in 31 appearances.
It’s a no-brainer, and something Postecoglou should consider, given that he’s a free agent, a 33-time international, and very probably a Bhoy, judging on his prior statements on the Ibrox team.
