Wesley Fofana’s transfer from Leicester to Chelsea appears to be imminent, which might be very bad news for West Ham.
According to Media Foot, Chelsea is “near to finalising” a deal for Fofana worth up to an astounding €100 million (£85 million).
And if Thomas Tuchel succeeds in bringing the 21-year-old centre back to Stamford Bridge, West Ham may be left without a top-tier central defence in our own search.
The issue for West Ham is PSG’s desire to acquire Wesley Fofana (Le Parisien). Additionally, they could be reluctant to allow Kehrer to depart to join the Hammers if Chelsea manages to snag the Leicester star.
Wesley Fofana joining Chelsea would be terrible news for West Ham
The 21-year-old star of Leicester might be gone for the Hammers’ Kehrer aspirations if the Blues land him.
It’s possible that PSG won’t opt to sell the German to West Ham. How devastating for us that would be.

According to Sport Mob, Kehrer is one of Germany’s quickest players and is incredibly quick. He was referred to be a potential “world-class” talent by the Bundesliga’s official website while he was playing for Schalke.
He has won the league three times and was very successful at Parc des Princes.
The 25-year-old also makes excellent football passes.
He averaged 43.1 passes per game in his 27 Ligue 1 outings for PSG last season, with a remarkable completion rate of 94.7%. (Who Scored).
Kehrer, who is 6 feet 1 inches tall, is not the tallest centre back, but he has a remarkable jump, comparable to that of Nathan Ake of Manchester City.
David Moyes will undoubtedly be drawn to the German due to his versatility in defence.
It should go without saying that he would be an incredible addition to West Ham.
However, if Chelsea wins the race to sign Wesley Fofana, PSG may be inclined to keep Kehrer at Parc des Princes.
And that would be a disaster for the Hammers with time running out in the transfer window.
