West Ham managerial target Arne Slot would reportedly love to take charge of Tottenham Hotspur one day.
According to a report from The Times, Feyenoord coach Arne Slot is wanted by both West Ham and Tottenham, but the Dutchman’s preference is clear.
Slot would love to take over at Spurs, and that is obviously bad news for the Hammers.

It seems as though we could be in line for some disappointment though…
West Ham could be beaten to Arne Slot appointment by Tottenham
The Times suggest that the Feyenoord coach would love the chance to take over at Spurs.
Football Oranje suggests that Slot is an ‘elite’ coach in the making, and they’re not wrong.
The 44-year-old Dutchman would be a hugely exciting appointment for West Ham in my opinion, and losing out on him to Tottenham would be a major blow for us.
Slot took over at Feyenoord in the summer of 2021 and has taken the Dutch giants to another level in under two years.
He guided them to a third place finish in his first season at De Kuip. The Dutchman also took his side to the Europa Conference League final last season, only to lose to Roma in the final, but things have got even better since then.
Feyenoord currently sit top of the table, with an eight point lead over second placed Ajax with only six games left to play this season.
Slot deploys an attacking brand of free-flowing football at Feyenoord and I think he’d be the ideal man to usher West Ham into an exciting new era of success.

He predominantly uses a 4-2-3-1 system but also switches up to a 4-3-3 at times. Slot’s managerial style has been likened to Marcelo Bielsa.
The Feyenoord boss likes his full-backs to push high up the pitch with his two centre-back’s splitting and a ‘ball-playing’ goalkeeper essentially becoming a third defender.
He is definitely a manager with an innovative, fresh approach to the game and he could work wonders at the London Stadium.
However, West Ham may miss out on Arne Slot to Tottenham and if that happens, it will be very much their gain and our loss.
