Leeds United are set to make yet another move to sign long-term West Ham transfer target Bamba Dieng from Marseille in January.
90min claims that Leeds and West Ham are two clubs who are chasing the 22-year-old forward’s signature this month.
West Ham have been battling Leeds since the start of the summer for Dieng (MediaFootMarseille).
That was up until a dramatic late twist where the Marseille forward rejected Leeds when at the airport, having already verbally agreed to join them, in favour of a move to Nice.

That move failed to happen either and instead, Dieng ended up staying with Marseille. It seems as though the Hammers and the Whites could make another attempt to sign him in the January transfer window though…
Leeds West Ham eye move to sign Bamba Dieng
The Marseille forward is on the radars of both the Hammers and the Whites this winter according to a report from 90min.
David Moyes and Jesse Marsch are both in need of more firepower up front at the London Stadium and Elland Road respectively.
Dieng is a really exciting young talent and has so much potential.
He has been described as the new Didier Drogba by Get Football News France.
The Senegalese forward bagged seven goals and three assists in 25 Ligue 1 games for Marseille last season (Transfermarkt).
Dieng possesses blistering pace, has fantastic movement and is a nightmare for opposing defenders. He is a pretty good finisher as well.
Ligue 1’s official website describe the Marseille forward as ‘very fast’ and he’s been labelled as ‘absolutely rapid’ as well.
Dieng is allegedly available for just £10 million.
The Marseille starlet is far from the finished article. There are a lot of improvements that he needs to make in his game. And some might say that there are no guarantees of him succeeding in the Premier League.
Having said that, we believe that £10 million is a very fair price for the striker..
And Leeds will certainly not have things all their own way with West Ham eyeing a move to sign the Senegalese star.
