This weekend, Chelsea will play their next game against their nearby rivals, Tottenham.
The new Premier League season is in its second game week, and Chelsea is off to a good start after defeating Everton last weekend at Goodison Park. It was always going to be a difficult game because the Blues hadn’t won there since 2017.
But this weekend’s matchup with Spur
I have several concerns before this game. I won’t lie; I believe Tottenham made some excellent signings this season and did so early. Under Antonio Conte, they now appear to be a very strong and dangerous squad.
With just two changes, I believe Thomas Tuchel will use a configuration that is substantially the same as what he used against Everton.
I believe Marc Cucurella will start over Ben Chilwell purely because the latter is still being eased back in after injury. And I also believe there is a very slight chance that Armando Broja gets the nod up top over Kai Havertz, after his impressive cameo on Saturday.
