Carabao Cup 3rd round draw: Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United get there opponents
As the stage draw for the Carabao cup draw for the third round setting in yesterday evening, with all major 6 clubs in the EPL joining the most anticipating draw, now they will all know who there opponent is later this evening.
The 2nd round of the competition was put to bed later this evening, with Arsenal beating the Championship side West Bromwich Albion to reach the 3rd round draw.
Likewise both Newcastle v Burnley and Newport v Southampton will kick off the game around (7.45pm), to round up the 2nd round game and after the game the 3rd round draw immediately take place.
Brentford FC have effectively gotten there spot in the 3rd round after an emphatic win over Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday night, while Crystal Palace were taken out by Watford later that same day.
With the Arsenal side having to play a match ahead to be able to join the other top 7 teams in England because of the 8th position finished last season in the league, now join the rest of the top teams Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, and West Ham – who all completed top 7 finish last season to get European football.
The draw took place immediately after the arsenal game in which they thrashed west bromich Albion 6:0 to progress to the next stage of the competition (3rd round).

Chelsea has been the club with the most appearance in the 3rd round of the competition, followed by there next opponent Aston Villa who takes the second position.
Also, the two clubs have won the competition multiple times, with our latest meeting with the Villans in the League Cup back in 2006, when the Blues won 4-0 at Stamford Bridge on the road to winning the prize.
Meanwhile, Manchester United is the only club to have get a more tougher match to play against (West Ham), and the last meeting with the london club ended in a 3:0 win for the Reds.
Having WestHam United suffered a heartbreak of a last minute defeat in the hands of the Reds in continuation of the New Premier league season.
David Moyes and his men will be keen to put on a solid performance to eliminate the Reds when there Carabao cup campaign kick off again.
