Victor Osimhen has made Chelsea and Tottenham aware of his potential interest in a future transfer to the Premier League.
The Napoli forward named Didier Drogba and Harry Kane as two players who helped define his style and who he looked up to for inspiration, although he would not rule out following in their footsteps.
Ever since he first drew people’s attention at Lille as a young player, the 23-year-old has been linked with a move to England.

Before joining the Serie A team in 2020, Osimhen was widely expected to sign with either Arsenal or Manchester United; the Gunners allegedly had a £76 million deal rejected.
The Nigerian international has 24 goals in 51 Serie A outings and has established himself as a staple in the Partenopei frontline. And those European admirers are still circling as Napoli makes an effort to deter would-be suitors.

When asked who strikers he likes to watch, Osimhen mentioned Chelsea star Didier Drogba as his childhood hero. And somewhat unexpectedly given their different playing styles, he picked out Tottenham star Kane as his contemporary influence, stoking rumours that he may have once fancied moving to the UK.
“Ciro Immobile of [Lazio] is my favourite Italian striker. I really enjoy him. Dusan Vlahovic, a striker for Juventus, is likewise quite powerful.
Then Lautaro [Martinez] and [Romelu] Lukaku return. Then there is me. It will be a terrific fight, he predicted, according to Football Italia’s Corriere dello Sport.
Rafael, a striker for AC Milan Leao is swift, but I move very quickly. Drogba is my hero and my inspiration. He has always encouraged me to become the person I am today, and I aspire to be just like him someday. Harry Kane still inspires me, but there are many more attackers out there from whom I can learn.
