This is the latest Chelsea news around the globe with New owners set to begin summer spending spree as he watch his side succumb 2 goal lead to end the game in a draw and issues surrounding the key players tto be revived.
Todd Boehly, the new owner, will begin organizing Chelsea’s expenditures this week. The first item on the agenda is to discuss new contracts for Mason Mount and Reece James.
The board is anticipated to push for A-list signings as a way to publicize their arrival.
As a result of their sanctions, Chelsea is already playing catch-up in the market.
Todd Boehly, Chelsea’s new owner, saw his team draw 2-2 with Wolves at Stamford Bridge, but he will start planning the club’s summer investment this week, with negotiations on new agreements for Mason Mount and Reece James at the top of his list.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, Boehly and his partners agreed to acquire the club from Roman Abramovich for £4.25 billion.
And now they’re anticipated to push for A-list acquisitions this summer to herald their presence, similar to the tactic he used with co-owners when he acquired the LA Dodgers in 2012, and he’s eager to get started.
Chelsea are already catching up in the transfer market, having lost players like Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen to Real Madrid and Barcelona during their sanctioned period, which barred them from considering financial transactions.
The Premier League has already assessed Boehly and his co-owners, Clearlake Capital, his LA Dodgers partner Mark Walter and Swiss medical device billionaire Hansjorg Wyss as well as Jonathan Goldstein and non executive directors Lord Finkelstein and Barbara Charone.
The owners and directors will all pass the test.
However, due of Abramovich’s sanctions, the UK government still has to change the conditions of the license that allows Chelsea to be sold.
The disputed £1.6 billion debt, which Abramovich is writing off, will be held in a frozen account while its status is settled, which is likely to be a lengthy procedure.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel expressed hope that the matter will be rectified swiftly after his team blew a 2-0 lead against Wolves, surrendering a 97th-minute equalizer.
‘We hope for the best, and the matter [being sanctioned] has been ongoing for so long that it must be resolved.’
Thomas Tuchel said he was hopeful that the situation off the pitch would be resolved quickly’We still hope for a positive outcome and for the situation to be solved..
It appears to be that way at the time, but it isn’t, so it’s not worth worrying about. We have our own problems to fix and improve upon since, obviously, we are struggling right now.’
Tuchel has yet to meet Boehly, who was accompanied to the game by his lawyer and Eldridge co-founder Duncan Bagshaw, as well as fellow partner E Adams Miller.
‘I heard this morning, and I’m in the process of planning my session,’ Tuchel added. There is no impact because I am in my matchday routine. I’m no longer looking forward to visiting the stadium. This isn’t the case.
‘Regardless of the weather, I strive to do my best to prepare for the match.’
People tell me this, but I don’t have it on my phone, and I don’t read the news on match days. I had a schedule and much to accomplish, so it had little impact on me.
‘I don’t believe the takeover is the cause of a loss of concentration.’ Because the penalties have not been lifted and the season will continue, nothing has changed for us.’
The first meeting Boehly wants to set up is with Tuchel. On the immediate plans for this summer, he will require input from current managing director Marina Granovskaia and technical advisor Petr Cech.
The future of Granovskaia, who has worked for Abramovich for more than 20 years, must be decided, but her opinion will be valued in the next few weeks.
Chelsea must also deal with the issue of Romelu Lukaku. On Saturday, he scored his first goals of the season, but he has fallen short of expectations.
‘Yeah, but folks, OK, excellent performance, but now is not the time to speak about individual performances and congratulate individual players,’ Tuchel said when asked if Lukaku had turned a corner with his brace.
‘We did it as a team, and we lost important points.’ This is not the time to sing particular praises.’
Tuchel bemoans Chelsea’s stalemate with Wolves, blaming blunders.
