Ivan Perisic’s good start in North London has allegedly caused Inter Milan to “regret” letting him to sign with Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to CalcioMercato.
The first of the seven new players to enter Hotspur Way this summer was Perisic, a seasoned wide player who joined on a free transfer when his contract with Inter expired.
The 33-year-old and Antonio Conte, who helped him develop into a top-tier wing-back at the San Siro, reconnected.
Three of Tottenham’s six Premier League games this season, as well as their Champions League season-opener against Marseille, have been started by Perisic (Transfermarkt).
The 2-0 victory for the home team on Wednesday was the third assist of the season for the Croatian international, whose inch-perfect cross was converted by Richarlison.
According to CalcioMercato, Perisic is becoming “increasingly essential” at Spurs as a result of his performance against Marseille, and Inter “regrets” not being able to keep hold of him.
According to the article, the Nerazzurri are having trouble locating a comparable candidate who can make the same kind of contributions from the wing.
The idea is that Inter supporters will find it difficult to see Perisic triumph at Tottenham under Conte, especially considering the team’s subpar season thus far.

Due to the fact that Perisic will probably need a few months to adjust to his new teammates and league, we have not yet seen the best of him at Spurs.
However, his ability to pull out beautiful crosses with either foot has already shown that he is a serious attacking danger down the left.
This season, it will be impossible for defences to handle Kane and Richarlison in the box, along with Perisic’s ability to cross from the left.
