According to TEAMtalk, Leeds United may struggle to convince Mateusz Klich to remain beyond the January transfer window.
The Whites midfielder is a fan favourite, but he is expected to depart in January after falling down the pecking order at the club.
Clubs in France, Italy, and Germany have shown strong interest in the player. The player’s agent was contacted, and loan requests were also made.
Klich has a contract with Leeds until 2024, and Jesse Marsch wants to retain him.
Klich was linked with a move away from the club during the summer transfer window, but it was Marsch who persuaded him to remain.
The 32-year-old was a vital player under Marcelo Bielsa and played a significant part in their promotion campaign. He was one of the first names on the squad sheet, with Kalvin Phillips, under the Argentine.

Under Marsch, he has failed to start a Premier League game this season, with 11 appearances coming off the bench.
Marsch recruited Marc Roca and Tyler Adams in the summer, and the combination has played a significant part for the team so far. As a consequence, Klich has had a difficult time breaking into the starting lineup.
He is still a vital member of the team, but the midfielder will believe he has to progress in order to play frequently. Klich is a great player with a lot of football left in him.
Due to a lack of game time, he was unable to compete in the World Cup in Qatar, and his departure seems to be unavoidable in January.
