After an intriguing revelation, coach claims Liverpool could make a move for Leeds star.
Jim Curtin, head coach of the Philadelphia Union, has stated that he would not be surprised if Liverpool made a move for Brenden Aaronson after noticing something in Jurgen Klopp’s body language.
Leeds recently travelled to Liverpool in a game where only a handful of football fans expected Leeds to win.
Leeds, fortunately, defeated Liverpool thanks to a late winner in what was a historic result for Jesse Marsch’s side.
One player in particular stood out, and that was American international Aaronson, and Philadelphia Union head coach Curtin revealed how Klopp’s body language could indicate a move for him in the near future.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Jurgen Klopp is interested in that kid after how he played against him,” Curtin said, as relayed by Tom Bogert.
Aaronson has settled in well in the Premier League and has been one of the best signings of the summer so far.
His technical ability combined with his work-rate would make him an ideal candidate for this Liverpool side, but he appears to be enjoying his football at Leeds right now, so a move may be premature.
