Everton have booked a medical for a star David Moyes snubbed and he could face West Ham as Arnaut Danjuma countdown begins.

The relegation battle West Ham and Everton find themselves at the very heart off may be settled in the transfer window as well as on the pitch.

There is not much between the bottom seven or eight teams as West Ham prepare to entertain Everton in a huge six-pointer at the London Stadium on Saturday.

There is already no shortage of sub-plots to the game.

Under pressure Moyes reportedly faces the sack if West Ham do not beat his old club with talk that he could even return to Goodison Park should that prove the case.

Toffees boss Frank Lampard is clinging on to his job as he faces his boyhood club where he launched his career.

West Ham have signed Danny Ings ahead of the game and he could play against Everton, who saw a move for the striker rejected earlier this month.

As if that were not enough, there could be another side story in this massive clash with Lampard reportedly closing in on a West Ham target.

In fact Everton have booked a medical for a star Moyes snubbed and he could face West Ham as an Arnaut Danjuma countdown begins.

At the weekend Hammers News reported claims that West Ham target Danjuma had flown to London for transfer talks with clubs over a move to the Premier League.

The Hammers, Everton and Danjuma’s former club Bournemouth were all reported to be in for the Dutchman.

The likes of The Guardian claimed West Ham were pushing hard to sign the Villarreal man in the summer.

But The Daily Mail stated that Moyes pulled the plug on a move for Danjuma after deciding he isn’t the best fit for the Hammers.

Now he could face West Ham with Everton as Lampard races to beat Friday’s 12pm registration deadline.

According to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano, Everton are facing ‘crucial hours’ as they close in on the signing of Danjuma ahead of the West Ham clash.

So much so the Toffees even have a medical booked, presumably in the hope of getting it over the line before the Hammers match.

“Crucial hours for Danjuma’s future,” Romano said on Twitter.

“He will make a decision very soon, Everton are in advanced position and working on clubs side with Villarreal to get it done.

“There are other clubs in the race, up to Danjuma (but) Everton have medical tests booked.”

Ings has got a great record against Everton.

But West Ham fans will be worried at the prospect of Danjuma coming back to haunt Moyes if Lampard does manage to get the attacker signed in time.
