Everton really looking out for a massive summer signing after being in dark Shades of richarlison.
According to Loic Tanzi, Everton is making moves to try and recruit Wolfsburg midfielder Aster Vranckx, but they are not the only team in the running.
On June 22, Calcio Mercato first reported the Toffees’ interest in the 19-year-old player, who had also attracted interest from AC Milan.
However, it seems as though Frank Lampard and Kevin Thelwell want to refocus their efforts and are now moving to close a deal for Vranckx.
Just one year after moving from Mechelen in Belgium to Wolfsburg, Tanzi, a journalist for RMC Sport, revealed on July 14 through his personal Twitter account that Nottingham Forest had also started negotiations to recruit the European Golden Boy candidate.

Last season, Vranckx made 24 Bundesliga appearances, missed just 10 games, scored twice, and participated in four Champions League group stage matches at the Volkswagen Arena as the aggressive midfielder.
After finishing the 2021–22 season with Fabian Delph and Alex Iwobi in the lineup, Everton has a lot of work to do in the transfer market to improve their midfield.
That partnership will never last, and the only thing that kept us going against Burnley was their unrelenting energy and the rowdy Goodison Park fans.
With his comparable combative mentality and never-ending engine, Abdoulaye Doucoure is a very nice player to have beside Vranckx if he joins us on Merseyside. He is the ideal player for the Belgian Under-21 international to learn from.
There is presently no player at the club who could be viewed as fitting that mould, therefore Lampard will have to start looking at recruiting a more creative midfielder who can crack a defence.
Fortunately, the £60 million sale of Richarlison will have freed up some cash for the manager to spend, but it needs to go on the correct things if we’re going to prevent another nauseating season.
