This is the latest Everton news around the globe with Lampard handed two major transfer question which was raised after his team wins at Leicester.

Frank Lampard savored every second of the King Power Stadium’s post-match festivities.

After the 2-1 victory over Leicester City, fans waited for more than 20 minutes to celebrate their team’s promotion from the Premier League relegation zone.

Evertonians put in another outstanding performance, from the time the team bus left Finch Farm on Saturday until the final whistle 24 hours later.

Lampard took it all in stride, returning to partake in the roistering after having done so previously.

Even so, the Toffees’ leader recognizes that the task is far from done. There are four games left, and there is still a lot to play for.

Burnley and Leeds United are still in the rearview mirror.

On Wednesday, the team will go to Watford with tunnel vision. Then there’s Brentford’s visit the following Sunday.

Lampard, on the other hand, will be quietly making arrangements for the summer. Every boss has to do it.

Much of what he does will be influenced by the division Everton is in.

Everton News: Team lineups as Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Fabian Delph decisions made ahead of Leicester City

If the Blues maintain their Premier League membership, choices on Yerry Mina and Fabian Delph’s futures must be taken, based on the events in Leicester.

Both had missed much of the season due to injuries to their quads and thighs, but they returned to play in just one game last month.

    Mina’s struggles

Throughout the campaign, Mina experienced problems. It’s been difficult to keep him healthy.

Lampard has been meticulously monitoring his conditioning in order to maximize his availability.

The Colombia international was dropped from the Merseyside derby against Liverpool four days after returning after a more than two-month layoff in a 1-1 draw with Leicester at Goodison Park on April 20.

It was with the intention of preparing Mina for the last matchups of the relegation battle. Those that were considered as more winnable from a practical standpoint.

Mina might now face another time on the sidelines after hobbling out in the 18th minute at Leicester with a calf complaint. This is only his third game back and he has only played 198 minutes.

Supporters were unconcerned when he hobbled off the pitch for the third time this season.

They believed it was unavoidable, however Lampard is optimistic that it would just be a brief setback.

In terms of talent, it is almost universally recognized that Everton are a superior team when the ex-Barcelona man plays.

Their odds of winning games have significantly improved, as evidenced by the statistics.

This season, Mina has only played 90 minutes in eight league games. The Toffees, on the other hand, have scored 12 points per game on average.

If relegation is avoided, Lampard will have to make a decision about Mina’s future in the summer.

There aren’t many defenders like Mina who could be persuaded to come to Goodison Park, especially considering the club’s financial predicament.

With a year left on his contract, there’s a case to be made that he should be released.

Mina is expected to be among Everton’s top earners after joining for £27 million from Barcelona in the summer of 2018.

Mina does not now provide value for money, considering the limited number of games for which he has been available.

Selling him would not only free up salary but also a transfer fee.

Given his injury history, no potential suitor would be ready to accept such a risk.

    Delph’s impact

Lampard has also been working with Delph to ensure he doesn’t have another breakdown, as seen by his benching against Liverpool.

Delph’s injury woes have kept him from gaining any momentum since his arrival in the summer of 2019.

He has been a highly-maligned character on Merseyside for much of his tenure there, owing to his recurrent unavailability.

The former England international has taken up the role in this important run-in, when personalities and leaders are lacking.

Delph’s effort against Leicester was outstanding.

Since returning from injury in the 1-0 win against Manchester United on April 9, each of his appearances has been.

He was bold on the ball once again, always prepared to take possession in difficult situations.

Delph’s statistics highlight an all-action performance. In the loss against the Foxes, he completed 95% of his passes, made 11 ball recoveries, and created one opportunity.

Not to mention the Cruyff move that put Youri Tielemans on the ground in the first half.

Delph’s Goodison Park career and fan perception have both changed dramatically.

Since his return, he’s shown the foresight and caution that Everton lacked for the majority of the season.

A major decision on the ex-Man City player’s future will be made soon.

He’s been a crucial performer during the relegation battle. Delph’s services will be a major reason for the Toffees’ survival.

Everton must then decide whether or not to offer him new terms.

Delph’s contract expires at the conclusion of the season. It used to be a certain conclusion that the album would be released, but that is no longer the case.

He’s a player in whom Lampard has complete faith, which will be crucial going forward.

Delph’s past problems, however, must not be overlooked. In three seasons at Everton, he has only made 40 appearances.

Those concerns will be addressed later. Lampard is currently focused about allowing three points to Watford.

Nonetheless, what transpired at Leicester has undoubtedly provided Lampard with a taste of the decisions he will soon face.
