This is the latest Everton news with two most popular Pundit disagree with everton on the penalty call on richarlison as they make Unfair statement towards the fouls.
The Sky Sports commentators debated whether a spot kick should have been given when the Everton forward’s jersey was pulled in the first half.
Although his Sky Sports colleague Gary Neville disagreed, Jamie Carragher believes the decision not to give Everton a penalty against Brentford was justified.
With a win versus the Bees, the Toffees might have guaranteed their Premier League status for next season, but despite leading twice, they were defeated 3-2.
Jarrad Branthwaite was sent off for bringing down Ivan Toney while the striker was through on goal in the first half, which hampered their attempts.

At Goodison Park, though, there was outrage as Richarlison seemed to be fouled in the penalty area seconds later.
Despite referee Michael Oliver having a clear view of the event and VAR reviewing the shirt pull retrospectively, the on-field call was upheld.
Frank Lampard was enraged by the officiating after the game, with Everton leading 1-0 and in command.
On Monday Night Football, Carragher and Neville discussed the incident, with the former claiming that the shirt pull did not constitute a foul.
“How can he not issue a penalty for that judgment when it’s in slow motion and the stills look like that?” Carragher wondered.

“That looks bad, a lot of shirt, but I don’t believe it’s a penalty; we’re viewing it in slow motion, and people are screaming six of one, half a dozen of the other; it’s not, it’s Ajer.” Richarlison protests at the conclusion of the episode, not throughout it.
“…We’re trying to figure out who grabbed who and how long he was wearing his clothing… Slowing it down to attempt to find it makes it appear (like) a penalty, right? However, when viewed in real time, I do not believe it is a penalty.”
Neville, on the other hand, disagreed with that judgment and reminded Carragher of some prior remarks he had made about shirt tugging.
The former Manchester United right-back stated, “I’m suffering with the amount of time he’s tugging the shirt.”
“He’s not just pulling it once, but twice. If he’s handed it as a punishment, there’s no chance it’ll be reversed. In a million years, no way. I see why Everton is irritated. You’ve always stated (Carragher) knows when to release go of a shirt; we’ve all grabbed one; you don’t pull and pull; it appears to me that he’s held on too long.”
