This is the latest Everton news with an everton journalist saying the Frank Lampard must change his system to bring out misfiring player out of dead form.
According to Mark Wakefield of the Liverpool Echo, Everton manager Frank Lampard will have to drastically rearrange his lineup if he wants to give Dominic Calvert-Lewin an opportunity right away.
Despite their recent fine play, Everton are two points above the relegation zone. Lampard’s team, crucially, still has control of their destiny. Lampard came off the bench to give Calvert-Lewin an opportunity against Watford.
However, despite coming in in the 77th minute, the England striker failed to make an impression.

“Dominic Calvert-Lewin came off the bench in the draw with Watford, but struggled to make much of an impression,” Wakefield wrote in the Liverpool Echo on Friday [13 May].
“If Lampard is to start the England international, a change of shape and system will almost certainly be required, with a midfielder likely to be substituted.”
Lampard’s decisions
With Everton’s current scenario, Lampard is likely to stick with the guys who have been performing well for his team in recent weeks.
If Lampard is to trust Calvert-Lewin, a midfielder will almost certainly have to make way.

Alex Iwobi, Anthony Gordon, and Abdoulay Doucoure, for example, have been among the Toffees’ top players in recent weeks and cannot be overlooked.
It might be risky to trade one of these guys for a struggling Calvert-Lewin.
Everton has two crucial home matchups ahead of them, knowing that two solid victories will give them a fantastic chance to escape any last-day anxiety.
The Toffees will be keen to know their destiny before the match on the last day.
Arsenal’s defeat against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday [12 May] means they will almost probably be playing for pride at the Emirates.
Everton’s next two games are against Brentford and Crystal Palace at Goodison Park.
