Everton are planning to sell Amadou Onana for £60million to kickstart their summer transfer plans, sources have told Football Insider.
The Merseysiders face tight financial restrictions in the upcoming window and, as revealed by Football Insider on Monday (22 May), will have no money to spend on signings without first cashing in some of their senior stars.
One player Everton are confident could land a huge fee is Onana, who signed from Lille in a reported £33million move last summer (2022).

The 21-year-old has made a strong impression in a struggling team and the Merseysiders believe his value has nearly doubled since then.
Man United are among the clubs keeping tabs on Onana, and he is also of interest to other Premier League teams.
The six-time Belgium international has impressed in his first season in English football.

He has made 34 appearances across all competitions in the 2022-23 campaign, notching one goal and two assists.
That is despite his recent axing from Sean Dyche’s starting lineup – to which he was restored against Wolves on Saturday (20 May) after a three-match absence.
Onana can play in several midfield roles, including in holding midfield and in a ‘number eight’ berth.
The ex-Hamburg star earns a reported wage of £100,000-a-week on his Everton contract – which runs until June 2027.
Dyche’s side are still under real threat of relegation to the Championship ahead of the final day of the season on Sunday (28 May).
Everton must beat Bournemouth at Goodison Park in order to ensure their top-flight survival – with Leeds and Leicester eyeing a great escape.
