FA set to punish Man Utd after 2-0 win over 10-man Brighton
Earlier today the FA reveals some match conduct which Manchester United have breached during their 2-0 win over Brighton & Holves Albion.
The Manchester United club has been accused of failing to guarantee that its players behaved properly during Tuesday’s 2-0 win against Brighton.
This was verified by the Football Association (FA) on Wednesday.
United’s players challenged referee Peter Bankes, who had initially only issued a yellow card to Brighton’s Lewis Dunk for grabbing Anthony Elanga’s shoulder in the 53rd minute.
Bruno Fernandes, who scored the game’s second goal, was given a yellow card for his complaints.
After seeing a video on the pitchside monitor, Bankes was asked to examine the VAR’s judgment before changing Dunk’s yellow card to a straight red card.
United has until Monday to reply to the modification, according to the FA.
Let keeps our fingers across as we awaits the red devil’s for the allegations pledge towards them.
