Less than a month before the new Premier League season begins, Tottenham Hotspur is having trouble selling Tanguy Ndombele.
What’s the Update
Fabrizio Romano, an Italian transfer analyst, has provided an update on the Frenchman’s future in north London, and he claims that. To Caught Offside, he said:
“There is still no quick fix for Ndombele. His agents are speaking with additional teams, but there haven’t been any serious conversations yet, he said.

In an effort to secure his immediate future, the 25-year-old skipped Spurs’ preseason training camp in South Korea. However, it looks that the Lilywhites will be disappointed since nobody wants to sign him.

Levy and Conte will be furious
Both manager Antonio Conte and chairman Daniel Levy will undoubtedly be shaken by this development.
Ndombele joined Liverpool from Lyon for a club-record £55 million in the summer of 2019, but he has struggled to become a regular in the first team under each manager since.
The Frenchman, who was brought in by Mauricio Pochettino, had trouble making an impact under Nuno Santo or Jose Mourinho. After he was sent out on loan to his previous Ligue 1 team, it required the Italian’s arrival in the dugout for anything to happen.
The fact that they chose to sign the injury-prone Corentin Tolisso as a free agent rather than make it permanent is a very revealing indication.
The £27m-rated midfielder is burning a huge hole in the Lilywhites hierarchy’s finances given that he also makes a squad-high £200k per week.
Since he clearly has no future at Hotspur Way, he will just continue to waste money in the summer when Spurs have added five new players to the roster.
His position in the pecking order is much lower than it was before his loan departure since one of those was the addition of Yves Bissouma from Brighton and Hove Albion.
Ndombele looks to be at a career crossroads right now because Romano says that there isn’t an immediate answer, despite the fact that his agents have been speaking with teams.
The management must take immediate action to find a solution because keeping Ndombele around the players this season is a recipe for catastrophe. But for now, neither Conte nor Levy will be content with the state of affairs.
