“I definitely wouldn’t rule out” – Real Madrid star could join Newcastle United next summer Says Rivaldo
This out-of-favor Galactico is encouraged to join the Magpies project by the 49-year-old.
Real Madrid star Gareth Bale is expected to return to the Premier League this summer, potentially to Newcastle United, according to Brazilian icon Rivaldo.
The Welshman is presently serving the last months of his Real Madrid contract, which will expire in June, after which he will be a free agent.
Bale’s next destination remains a mystery, despite head coach Carlo Ancelotti’s confirmation that he will depart at the conclusion of the season.

The 32-year-old has a pre-contract deal with previous club Tottenham Hotspur, according to Italian news site Tuttomercatoweb.
In the 2020/21 season, he returned to north London on loan, scoring 16 goals and adding three assists in 34 games for another successful tenure.
Given that, a third season with the Lilywhites isn’t out of the question, though Newcastle is also in the mix following the Saudi ownership.
As long as they don’t get relegated this season, the chance to lead the club’s transformation would be appealing.

At St. James’ Park, Rivaldo believes Bale will have the opportunity to reclaim his place at the top.
He remarked, speaking on behalf of Betfair:
“If a decent offer comes in from a team with European ambitions, I believe he [Bale] may even stay in Spain. But the most likely option is a return to England, where he is familiar but also more demanding than any other league.”
He continued, “
“I wouldn’t rule out a move to Newcastle because I believe they might persuade him to return to the top level as one of the team’s stars next season, in what is expected to be a very exciting group.”
The Real Madrid dropout has much left in the tank.
Bale’s recent brilliance at Real Madrid suggests he’s reached the pinnacle of the game.
His loan experience at Spurs, on the other hand, demonstrated what the Welshman is capable of when given the chance to flourish.
Rivaldo feels Bale has a few more years in him, citing players like Cristiano Ronaldo, who is still playing for Manchester United at the age of 37.
