With his response to a query on the colour of north London over the weekend, Oleksandr Zinchenko won over even more Arsenal supporters.
Oleksandr Zinchenko made a quick recovery from an injury in time to participate in the north London derby on Saturday, helping Arsenal defeat their neighbourhood rivals 3-1.
Zinchenko gained the support of additional fans in an encounter with one of them after the game following a solid showing on the field.
As Zinchenko departed the game, a spectator said, “What colour is north London, by the way?”
It’s clearly red, right? Answered Zinchenko.

Since moving to north London, Zinchenko, an avid Arsenal supporter since his youth, has gained followers. This was especially evident during the match against Fulham, when he was unable to play but instead cheered and sang with the crowd.
Kieran Tierney, who is also highly well-liked by the audience, is in competition for a slot alongside Zinchenko. The question of which of the two they would choose to be in the team on any given matchday is likely one that many people struggle with.
But that’s not a problem. Tierney and Zinchenko should both start a lot of the games this month, but Arsenal won’t rely too much on either of them in the crucial contests.
