Latest news coming out of Arsenal camp reveals, I’ve run out of ideas – Mikel Arteta says after Arsenal’s win against Wolves. Arteta is now hopeful of stength and perseverance to finish the league season in a best position.
Mikel Arteta, Arsenal’s manager, has admitted that he has ran out of ideas for resolving the club’s disciplinary troubles.
Following his side’s hard-fought 1-0 win over Wolves on Thursday, Arteta admitted as much.
Despite Gabriel Martinelli’s odd sending off, Arsenal won the game.
Gabriel Magalhaes scored a close-range goal for the visitors midway through the first half to break the stalemate.
When asked what he can do to rectify indiscipline among the club’s players after the game, Arteta answered, “I fear I’ve run out of ideas!”
The Gunners are now fifth in the Premier League rankings, one point behind fourth-placed West Ham and level on points with Manchester United as a result of the defeat.
Keeping 11 players on the pitch, according to the former midfielder, will be “essential” if Arsenal is to achieve anything this season.
“When I talk about the group’s unity and cohesiveness, this is where it has to come from.” He said, “They showed it on the pitch today.”
