Victor Orta is itching and ready to go and get some transfer business over the line for Leeds United in January, according to Leeds Live.
There are definitely some problem areas within Jesse Marsch’s squad that Orta and co need to evaluate and it seems they are ready to do just that.
Leeds Live confessed that Orta has three or four options in each position and will now look to make moves within the murky and choppy transfer market.
“As ever, Leeds Live understands Orta has his three or four options in each position and will now look to make moves happen while navigating the choppy waters of selling clubs, rival clubs, agents, families and the players themselves,” as quoted by Leeds Live.
Will Orta make Whites’ transfer dreams come true? Time will tell.
One last hoorah.
Orta’s time at Leeds United has been marked by strong performances on the pitch and successful player recruitment and development.
And whilst many have pointed the finger at Orta in times of struggle, he has made some savvy signings over the years that have benefitted Leeds massively.
Now, with a 49ers takeover becoming increasingly likely, Orta’s tenure at Elland Road may be coming to an end and this could be his final hoorah.
He’ll likely want to leave Elland Road on a solid note and he can do this by having an extremely successful transfer window in January.
A left-back and striker have to be the priorities for Leeds United and Orta, hopefully, the club won’t be priced out of any such moves.
Sorting out both of these problem positions will go a long way towards Marsch’s men achieving better results, Orta needs to get this one absolutely spot on.
