This is the latest Leicester city News with squad overhaul set to take place as some players set to stay at the club and some on the verge of leaving.
If the rumors (and most supporters’ hopes) come true, the Leicester City team might see a lot of upheaval this summer.
There are a lot of names that may be on the move, so I’ve divided them into categories based on how interested I am in keeping them.
Players staying put at the club
I don’t see how they won’t be back next year, whether they’re too old, too young, just signed a new contract, or are Marc Albrighton:
Jonny Evans, Ricardo Pereira, Luke Thomas, Marc Albrighton, Jamie Vardy, Jonny Evans.

At All Costs, Build Around
This group consists of the club’s four top players (non-Vardy category) plus one kid that we must maintain. I wouldn’t sell them for anything, but if I had to, we’d take £100 million or more and still feel bad:
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Wesley Fofana, James Justin, James Maddison, Wilfred Ndidi
Why Would leicester Want to Sell?
We’re in a comparable category, but we’re not likely to obtain that enormous offer. These people aren’t as consistent as the others, but they’re still valuable contributors and players that I’d want on the squad next year:
Patson Daka, Harvey Barnes, Timothy Castagne, Kelechi Iheanacho
Lookman would be here if it weren’t for the fact that he wasn’t ours to sell. However, it occurs to me that…
I’m paying attention
These people have all had bad years, so now isn’t the best time to sell. I also believe they still have a lot to contribute, so there’s no use in subtracting, but I’d still accept the following offers:
Danny Ward, Caglar Soyuncu, Ayoze Perez, Boubakary Soumaré
I don’t like the name I’m going to give, but if we get an offer, I think we should think long and hard about it. He’s been great for a long time, but is he still indispensable? We might be able to create room for Daniel Iversen:
I’ll wave them farewell, but I believe it’s time to move on. 75% of this group has contributed a lot for the club and chipped in at critical periods, so I’ll wave them goodbye. The last one isn’t significant enough to warrant much attention:
Eldin Jakupovic, Hamza Choudhury, Nampalys Mendy, Daniel Amartey, Hamza Choudhury
I’ll purchase his ticket on my own.
These are the types of players who may easily lose a game by a score of 9-0. Even though they’re free, I’m OK without them:
Ryan Bertrand, Jannik Vestergaard, Youri Tielemans
I’m not going to make myself popular here, but if there was a way to keep him, I’d do it; unfortunately, I don’t believe there is.
I understand why some supporters believe he has lost interest in the Foxes, but I’ve never lost trust in them. We’ll always have the FA Cup since he won it for us.
That’s my opinion, but I’m a hopeless optimist who despises losing players. Is there somebody I’m keeping that you’re going to leave on the side of the road? Or someone you believe we should focus on that I’ve completely overlooked?
