This is the latest Leicester City News as fans hoping fan favorite to stay up with the club with surprise candidate showing up in huge offer.
We still think Leicester will come out on top in terms of Youri Tieleman’s future, since a move to Spurs or Arsenal is unlikely. Real Madrid may be, but there are currently no bids on the table, so we will have to wait and see.
So, if Tielemans decides to go, who could be able to fill the void? There are a few players that can execute a comparable role, and we used statistics to discover the best substitute.
We began by contrasting Youri Tielemans and Christian Eriksen. They are incredibly similar in appearance and play, and their numbers are practically equal.
This season, Eriksen has 54 points while Tielemans has 52. Eriksen appears to be the ideal replacement for Youri Tielemans.
Vitaly Janelt, who is also a Brentford player, was mentioned by Leicester correspondent Rob Tanner as a possible alternative, so it would be fascinating to see how this former RB Leipzig player fits into the pattern.
With a low ratio of 36 and the appearance of being a bit different than Youri Tielemans, he is not among the top three TCF would suggest.

Jon Moncayola, who we have included with Youri Tielemans in our check, is another player who has emerged from those analyses. The Osasuna midfielder appears to be more physical and may not have all of the same characteristics, as seen by his lower ratio.
Conor Gallagher is the third player mentioned. In many aspects, he is comparable to Tielemans, but his lack of penetration with through balls sets him apart.
He may appear to be a fine player at first glance, but he will struggle to find Jamie Vardy in the little pockets, which is a critical element of Leicester’s core.

Danny Drinkwater is set to become a free agent in the summer, and his career as a footballer has taken off this season, with consistent performances for Reading as they battled to stay in the League Championship.
Only one goal and one assist isn’t enough to fill the void left by Youri Tielemans, but at his best, he’s a player who can play those through balls to Jamie Vardy, and it’d be interesting to see how our former great could have managed a return, as his role in the team would have fit perfectly, despite his age and standard.
Drinkwater and Tielemans have comparable traits, such as a knack for the through ball, an eye for a goal, and, at his best, a perfect spot.
Another player to consider is Liverpool’s Naby Keita, who can play through balls and, like Christian Eriksen, is likely to be able to fill a void left by Youri Tielemans. Keita had previously been linked with Leicester and is a prospective addition.
Then there’s Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech, who has a lot of through balls, can score goals, and can play in the same position, albeit his appearance at Chelsea is a little more attacking. His link-up play and through-ball abilities are superior than most.
In this context, Christian Eriksen appears to be a wonderful fit, whereas Zayech is a bit different but possesses the skills that Leicester will miss the most.
Drinkwater is a surprise, and few believe he will be able to return to where he was established.
Keita is also a good alternative. As a free transfer alternative, and if others are outpriced or dismissing Leicester, DD would jump at the opportunity.
