How Leicester City may prepare for their Premier League match against Watford on Sunday afternoon, where three points would maintain them in the top half of the table heading into the final week.

Wesley Fofana and Papy Mendy are anticipated to return to the Leicester City starting lineup as they attempt to consolidate their position in the Premier League’s top ten.

Brendan Rodgers’ side might make just two changes for the trip to demoted Watford on Sunday. Three points at Vicarage Road would keep City in the top half of the table heading into the final week of the season. Now our only hope is that we didn’t receive it.

Fofana was a late scratch from Wednesday’s 3-0 win against Norwich, with Daniel Amartey taking his place, but the French defender has been deemed healthy. He could be able to reclaim his spot next to Jonny Evans.

Meanwhile, against the Canaries, Mendy came in as a half-time replacement, and City’s midfield was much more balanced with the Senegalese international at the back.

As a result, he is expected to maintain his starting berth, putting James Maddison on the right flank and Ademola Lookman on the bench.

The remainder of City’s lineup should be similar to the one that beat Norwich, but that might change depending on player health.

They’ve got three days to recuperate from their win, which should be adequate, though Rodgers may be wary about individuals who have been out for a long time.

Evans, James Justin, and Jamie Vardy are among them. If Rodgers believes none of those three can play, Amartey, Luke Thomas, and Patson Daka may be brought into the starting lineup.

Schmeichel; Castagne, Fofana, Evans, Justin; Mendy; Maddison, Tielemans, Dewsbury-Hall, Barnes; Vardy; City (4-1-4-1). Ward, Jakupovic, Thomas, Amartey, Soyuncu, Vestergaard, Choudhury, Soumare, Albrighton, Perez, Lookman, Daka, Iheanacho are among the substitutes.
