Manchester United News: Rangnick wants Nigerian striker to replace Ronaldo at the club

This is the latest Manchester united News, Ralf Rangnick has stated he wants Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian striker, to replace Ronaldo at the club.

Manchester United are planning a summer deal for Osimhen to replace Ronaldo, according to Venerato.

Prior to the forthcoming summer transfer window, Osimhen has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Newcastle United being suggested as possible destinations for the Super Eagles forward.

However, Venerato feels that if Napoli’s owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis, receives a proposal in the range of 100 million euros, he will be obliged to do business with one of Osimhen’s bidders.

According to calcioinpillole, Venerato revealed on La Domenica Sportiva that Manchester United is focusing on the Nigerian and that Rangnick wants him to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Both the club and the player have previously been investigated, with President De Laurentiis estimating his worth at $100 million.

“At the same time, Napoli requested information for Scamacca, whom Spalletti regards as Osimhen’s best possible heir.”

The current contract of Osimhen with Napoli is set to end in the summer of 2023.

In 2020, the 23-year-old signed Napoli from Lille in the French Ligue 1.
