SportEarly had the latest Manchester United News. Manchester United News: Rangnick will not get Man Utd job – Neville claims after 4-2 win at Leeds
Gary Neville, a former Manchester United captain, has stated that Ralf Rangnick would not be hired as the club’s permanent manager at the end of the season.
In December, the German took over as temporary manager for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Rangnick, on the other hand, has agreed to work as a consultant for United when his six-month contract finishes.
There have been requests for him to be granted the post after he oversaw a difficult road that has kept the Red Devils in the Premier League top four.
However, Neville is adamant that a new manager will be in place for the 2022/2023 season.
“I don’t think he gets the job at the end of the season, come what may,” he told Sky Sports. I believe there was an initial sensation that it may happen; nevertheless, that is not the case. Next season, Manchester United will have a new manager.
“I believe he will have a voice in who gets the job since he has a good understanding of the present group of players’ personalities, performance levels, and training levels, so he is in a great position to advise.”
“Because he is in daily contact with them, he is perhaps in the best position to counsel.”
He’s looking at how they deal with disappointment, how they deal with crowds, how they deal with big games, and how they deal with training; can they satisfy the club’s demands? Are they up to par in terms of quality?
