Magpies are not taking a walk away from the transfer market as they prepare to add more fire power to the squad by bring in Howe favourite in a double swoop on the club agenda.
The Mirror claims that Newcastle is prepared to begin contract negotiations with Callum Wilson and is still eager to reach agreements with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Moussa Diaby.

Eddie Howe, who played six seasons with Wilson at Bournemouth, is still a “great fan” of the 30-year-old and believes he still has a significant role to play in this exciting new endeavour at St. James’ Park even if the 30-year-old has two years left on his present contract.
The England international has been essential to the Magpies since signing in 2020, scoring 20 goals in 46 appearances despite having fitness issues and missing 30 games due to injury.

We appear to be keen to sign another striker this summer in light of his injury troubles.
According to The Mirror, Calvert-Lewin has received quotes of up to £60 million, but we are still confident of working out a deal with Everton. The same is true for Diaby, who received quotes of up to £50 million from Bayer Leverkusen.
If we make a high-profile signing up top, it will be interesting to watch how Wilson’s new contract works. Wilson may gain from the competition and thrive in a side with more inventiveness, albeit it seems that keeping healthy is his biggest challenge.
The former Bournemouth player has suffered from injuries throughout his career, but he doesn’t lack confidence, consistently performs when healthy, and is motivated to make England’s World Cup roster once more.
