The Magpies had two games rescheduled after being postponed in December, but have now been given new dates.
Newcastle United will have a demanding schedule next month after the Premier League rescheduled two of the club’s December matches.
Following the cancellations of Southampton and Everton in the space of a few days during the Christmas period, Premier League officials have given the Magpies their hefty March schedule.
The match against Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 10th at 7.30pm, with the match against Everton a week later on March 17th at 7.45pm.
Newcastle must now play FOUR games in the span of only nine days due to the changes to the fixture plan.
Indeed, United will play Chelsea away at Stamford Bridge on March 13th at 2pm, and then host Crystal Palace at St James’ Park on March 19th at 3pm.
It means that fans will have to travel to St Mary’s and Stamford Bridge twice in three days.
However, if Palace overcome Stoke City in the FA Cup fifth round, Eddie Howe’s schedule could be a little easier.
