This is the latest Newcastle United News with target fully changing up his mind and he return to training with his parents club.
Hugo Ekitike’s transfer to Newcastle United has already been agreed upon in terms of price with Stade de Reims, but completing the deal has been challenging as the player’s camp weighs its alternatives.
Hugo Ekitike has returned to the Stade de Reims training facility as he continues to consider his options after agreeing to a deal with Newcastle United earlier this month.

Despite Ekitike earlier declining the opportunity to join the Magpies in January, Newcastle felt inspired enough to return to the bargaining table this summer and reach a £25.6 million agreement with Reims.

The management didn’t allow the rejection to discourage Ekitike since they recognized that the 20-year-old had just recently broken into Reims’ first squad.
Even though only Newcastle took action on their long-term interest, Ekitike’s agent, Karl Mwalako Buchmann, seems to have been keeping Ekitike’s options open.
After losing their top striker Erling Haaland to Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund instead made the move to sign Karim Adeyemi and Sebastien Haller.
Ekitike, meanwhile, concluded his season less than a fortnight ago due to his international duties and has already gone home to spend time with his family and think about his future move.
Ekitike injured his hamstring when competing for France’s under-20 team earlier this month, but encouragingly, on Wednesday, he was back at the Reims training facility working out on the bike.
A current transfer tale would obviously not be complete without a mysterious message, so Ekitike took to Snapchat only a few hours before his workout.
On Tuesday, Ekitike captioned a picture of a door that was partially open in his house “Do not mix up ambition and modesty. Thank you very much.”
