This is latest Newcastle United News with Youngster getting ahead of all to win a major award as he finish the season on high note.
On-loan Elliot Anderson, a Newcastle United trainee, has won two additional trophies following his stint at Bristol Rovers.
Anderson has been named EFL Young Player of the Month and League Two Player of the Month for April, after winning goal of the month in March for his magnificent solo performance against Harrogate Town.

Anderson scored three goals and added two assists in April, earning plaudits from Sky Sports analyst Don Goodman, who described him as “one of England’s most intriguing young players.”

He also scored the game-winning seventh goal against Scunthorpe United, ensuring Rovers’ promotion over Northampton Town.
“It almost needs to be stated that the criteria for this award are judged solely on Anderson’s performances in April, before the frankly ridiculous performance he turned in on the dramatic final day, adding two assists and a goal to the three goals and two assists he registered in April,” Goodman said.
“He returns to Newcastle United with a reputation as one of the country’s most intriguing young players, attracting a lot of interest from all around the footballing pyramid.”

Despite having more financial resources at their disposal, Newcastle will be looking to maintain hold of him. He has clearly demonstrated his talent under former Magpies player Joey Barton.
The Gas were wallowing in the bottom half of League Two when Anderson came, despite being one of the favourites for promotion at the start of the season, but suddenly surged up the table as he began to imprint his authority.
If he can sustain this good form, he will be a key part of Eddie Howe’s plans for next season as Newcastle attempt to develop for the future.
