Nigeria vs Ghana: Eguavoen reveals team that deserves to play at Qatar 2022

The Nigeria vs Ghana world cup qualifier match is set to take place sooner as Enguavoen marked out the country that are fit to go for the world cup in Qatar come 2022.

Augustine Eguavoen, Nigeria’s temporary technical adviser, believes the Super Eagles are more deserving of a spot in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar than Ghana.

The two West African rivals will face off later this month for a spot in the tournament.

The first leg will take place on March 25 at the Cape Coast Stadium, with the return match four days later at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

Nigeria, according to Eguavoen, is in a stronger position to qualify for the World Cup.

“There isn’t a shadow of a doubt in my mind.” “I am a Nigerian, a full-blooded Nigerian, and if you ask me that question, I believe we deserve a spot in the World Cup,” he told Ghanasportspagea.

“It’s going to be a tough game, but also a close one.”

“We have a lot of mutual respect for one another, and when Ghana and Nigeria play each other, it’s always tough, always tight.” But, as you can see, it’ll come down to us attempting to get there (Ghana).

“We will give it our all to win the game, if not both games, but with no disrespect to Ghana, which is a very strong team both individually and collectively.”

We will just go and fight and try to win the game.”
