They first claim that Chelsea’s initial offer did not have the ‘desired outcome’, as the bid on the table was worth €25m, while Napoli demand at least €35m.
It’s also said that the Blues haven’t given up and will make another pitch to Inter Milan on Thursday in an effort to persuade them to accept their offer.
Chelsea likely understood when they made their initial bid that Inter Milan would seek €35 million, according to earlier reports from Italy. It is now their responsibility to go toward that request.
