Insider ExWHUemployee has claimed that West Ham United youngsters Harrison Ashby and Conor Coventry may get a chance in Europe this week.
Next up for the Hammers in the Europa Conference League is a home match against Anderlecht as the English outfit look to maintain their perfect start to the group.
Having won their first three fixtures in the competition, David Moyes may now feel as though he has the opportunity to rest and rotate some of his squad – and it seems as though this could open the door for a couple of the club’s talented youth prospects.
Indeed, while talking on The West Ham Way podcast, Ex named Ashby and Coventry as two men that might get a chance to start against Anderlecht on Thursday evening.
He said: “We’ve got Anderlecht on Thursday. We do need to win that one to make sure we 100% finish top of the group.
“I expect there to be the usual rotation and the possibility that maybe Ashby and Coventry, people like that, might get a chance. But we shall see.”

TIF Thoughts on Harrison Ashby, Conor Coventry and West Ham United…
Ashby did play for West Ham in one of the qualifying rounds, but has yet to feature in the competition proper. However, that was partly due to injury, and with him now seemingly fit again, he may well start against the Belgian outfit.
Coventry also played in the qualifying rounds, though the 22-year-old did feature against Silkeborg – but this was only a one-minute cameo off the bench.
No doubt, both players will be hoping to be given a first start in the competition on Thursday, and it sounds as though at least one of them could be in with a shot.
Of course, though, with three group games still to go, Moyes will want to wrap up qualification as soon as possible, so he might not risk playing the inexperienced duo.
