Brighton have sent out a message to The Argus ‘within the last hour’ about the possibility of Leandro Trossard joining Tottenham Hotspur.
Antonio Conte looks set to bring in another forward player this month after injuries to Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski have left him short.
The Belgian forward’s contract was set to expire at the end of the season, but 90 Min reported last week that Brighton have triggered a one-year extension.
And after Trossard has been heavily linked with a move to north London, Brighton have stated that there has been no movement in regards to Tottenham’s interest in the player.

Brighton send out message about Trossard to Tottenham
The Argus reported this afternoon (Tuesday) that they have been told within the last hour that ‘nothing is happening’ in terms of Tottenham’s move for Trossard ‘at the moment’.
The outlet notes that Brighton are keen to keep their squad as it is while they push for their highest ever finish in the Premier League.
Antonio Conte will be desperate to bring in some fresh faces this month as he aims to secure Tottenham’s place in the Champions League once again.
The signings of Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur transformed their season last time out and the Italian will be hoping for additions that make a similar impact.
Trossard has been exceptional for the Seagulls this season, scoring seven goals and registering three assists in the Premier League.
He’s been described as an ‘unreal’ talent due to his performances on the south coast.
It’s a signing that would make a lot of sense from Tottenham’s point of view as the Belgian would provide Conte with another quality option across the front-three.
But it remains to be seen whether Brighton would be willing to let their leading goal scorer leave halfway through the season, especially as they’ve seemingly triggered a one-year extension on his deal.
