Inter Milan are interested in Tyler Adams, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that Piero Ausilio has been hugely impressed by the Leeds United star during the World Cup.
Adams has been one of the revelations of the tournament with the USMNT. Ahead of their opening game, Gregg Berhalter handed the 23-year-old the captain’s armband.
And he has vindicated that decision. He was, by far, the best player on the pitch when the US drew with Wales. And he staked a very strong claim for the man of the match award in the stalemate with England.
Inter Milan want Tyler Adams
Of course, one downside – from a Leeds perspective – from Adams’ performances is that he is attracting plenty of attention while in Qatar.
And according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Ausilio has been watching the 23-year-old at the tournament and has been extremely impressed.
Inter already had Adams on their radar. But the report claims that his performances for his country have increased Ausilio’s desire to bring him to San Siro.

Thankfully, Gazzetta adds that luring him away from Leeds will not be easy. He has only just arrived at Elland Road and is under contract until 2027.
The interest in Adams will not come as a surprise to supporters. He has arguably been our best player this season. And he has carried that form onto the biggest stage in world football.
Jesse Marsch suggested that he is a ‘special‘ player. And he will be desperate to keep him. Hopefully, that relationship between the pair will help convince Adams that he does not need to go anywhere right now.
But clearly, the onus is now on the club to move forward to ensure that the likes of Adams and others do want to stay when European giants come calling.
