Newcastle United are the club most interested in signing Mallorca midfielder Kang-in Lee, whose release clause has now been revealed.
According to Spanish outlet Marca, the South Korea international has a £14.7m release clause in his current deal.
They continue to highlight the Magpies’ interest, in which the Tyneside outfit are said to be ‘the club most interested’ in signing him.
The report claims ‘many’ other Premier League teams are monitoring the midfielder, and that scouts were sent to watch Mallorca’s match against Atletico Madrid.
As a result, the La Liga side are now ‘starting to fear’ that offers will arrive for Lee in the January window.

Newcastle could sign Lee for £15m
The 21-year-old has impressed in the Spanish top-flight this season. In 14 appearances, he has bagged two goals and three assists. Most impressively, these have come from five different positions, meaning he has had to adapt his game each and every outing.
Predominantly an attacking-midfielder, Lee has also shone for South Korea at the World Cup.
Although he is yet to start for his country out in Qatar, the youngster has impressed off the bench. He even contributed an assist after just one minute of making it onto the pitch, levelling the game up at the time.
For this cameo against Ghana, Lee was hailed as ‘phenomenal’ by ESPN journalist David Cartlidge.
At just 21-years-old, the South Korean star has huge potential, which could possibly be exploited by Eddie Howe on Tyneside.
Available for just £15m, it sure seems worth the Magpies taking a punt on the youngster.
Although the club appear to be the front-runners right now, with an impressive World Cup campaign, the Toon may have to fight rival suitors off in January.
