The Russian Ukraine war which is set not to be ending sooner as affected the most Russian billionaires world wide as the assets are being seized with Russian oligarch who bankrolled Everton has £600M superyacht SEIZED.
Alisher Usmanov, a Russian businessman, had his 500-foot superyacht confiscated as part of a crackdown on Putin’s friends.
According to accounts, the exorbitantly wealthy businessman, who supported Everton FC, is detained on dry land when German officials took his £600 million luxury sailboat on Monday.
It’s the latest major step in Europe’s plan to choke Russia’s affluent with sanctions.
Dilbar is the world’s largest boat in terms of interior space, specifically built for 68-year-old industrialist Usmanov.

The 512ft sea show, which is claimed to be his treasured property, will now be stored at shipyards in Hamburg, Germany.
The superyacht has been parked there since late October as part of a refurbishment project.
It comes after Usmanov was barred from entering the EU and his assets were frozen as part of a crackdown on Russian billionaires.
Dilbar is claimed to cost up to £60 million per year to maintain and has an 82-foot pool, two VIP helipads, a beach deck, and a floating viewing bay.
Usmanov purchased the superyacht in 2016, using money earned from assets in metals, media, telecommunications, and sport, including a stake in Arsenal FC.
Following the invasion of Ukraine, the lavish spending and the wasteful displays of riches among Russia’s elite have come under under criticism.
However, the oligarch lambasted the EU penalties against him, calling them “unfair”
He stated on the website of the International Fencing Federation, of which he is the president, in a statement: “On February 28, 2022, the European Union implemented restrictive measures on me.

“I feel such a judgment is unjust, and the cause for the penalties is based on a series of false and defamatory charges that have harmed my honor, dignity, and company reputation.
“I would use all legal means to protect my owner and reputation.”
Despite being targeted by the US and EU, he has managed to avoid UK penalties.
Usmanov’s firm Megafon sponsored Everton Women and had a £6 million sponsorship arrangement with the Toffees’ training site.
The tycoon also has a £30 million first-refusal deal in place for the new stadium’s naming rights.
Usmanov is also a member of the Everton board of directors and has tight financial relations with team owner Farhad Moshiri.
According to The Telegraph, he even had a role in Frank Lampard’s appointment and took part in his job interview.
Usmanov formerly owned a 30% interest in Arsenal, but sold it in 2018.

The billionaire, who has been nicknamed “favourite oligarch” has already employed top London legal firm Schillings to defend his image.
“How can I be afraid of sanctions when I’ve been through much worse things in life?” he stated in 2020.
“Because I don’t deserve them, it’ll be painful if they come.”
“I’m not one to get involved.” I don’t become involved in political matters.”
