A silky West Ham midfield target Rob Newman scouted this season has announced his intention to seal a summer move as Enzo Le Fee speaks out.
Back in November reports emerged claiming West Ham’s head of recruitment Rob Newman was over in France to watch Lorient talent Enzo Le Fee closely.
The Hammers man was not alone, though, with Premier League rivals Leicester and Fulham also said to be in attendance among other clubs from across Europe.
Reports from the likes of 90min and London World claimed West Ham were at Lorient to watch midfield playmaker Le Fee – which is when Terem Moffi allegedly caught the eye of Newman too.

Moffi was the subject of a bid by West Ham in January but the striker insisted on joining Nice instead.
Le Fee remained with Lorient in January and has been one of the stars of Ligue 1, scoring five goals and laying on five assists so far this season and recording a very high average match rating of 7.34 (Who Scored).
With Declan Rice set to leave and the futures of Manuel Lanzini and others uncertain, West Ham’s midfield will need a shake up in the summer.
So there is some good news emerging from France this evening.View Tweet
Because the silky West Ham midfield target Newman scouted this season has announced his intention to seal a summer move as Le Fee speaks out.
Speaking to Le Telegramme, Le Fee has announced he will not be signing a new deal at Lorient and intends to leave the club in the summer.
The West Ham target – who has been likened to James Maddison – said he he wants to make Lorient some money from his transfer fee.

But the 22-year-old also warned he will leave on a free the following summer if he is not sold because he has no intention of signing a new deal.
“Yes, it’s time for me to leave…” Le Fee told Le Telegramme.
“I still wanted to extend (with Lorient) at the start of the season. I waited for a contract proposal from FC Lorient until December. She never came. Now I don’t expect anything from the club and I won’t extend any more.
“I hope to leave this summer so that my transfer brings money to FC Lorient. Otherwise, I’ll be free to sign up anywhere next winter, less than six months from the end of my contract.”
Le Fee is away with France’s Under 21s at the moment gearing up for a game against their Spain counterparts on Tuesday.
He came up against West Ham defender Ben Johnson when they both came on as substitutes in England Under 21s’ 4-0 win over France Under 21s on Saturday.
Le Fee is slight of build. But he is seriously skilful and creative. He looks every inch the perfect replacement for someone like Lanzini should they leave. You can check him out in the video below.
