Some fans express there feelings below towards the action taking the board as they Couldn’t believe the club would finally sign the Brazilian player while some fans labelled the deal as waste of buy:
I think Steve G added a bit of emotion into this. I really don’t think Aston Villa needs Coutinho that much, if I’m being honest. But Gerrard, maybe, because of their Liverpool past, feels he should give him a shot. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still a decent player but not that much! Whilst his prime years are gone, this is some coup for such a talented footballer with alot still to offer. I really think he can be to #AVFC what Juninho was to Boro & Zola was to Chelsea in the late 90’s. Different calibre & different class who will attract more talent #UTV! Wow… this is great news. He’s gone through so much. So glad he found a new place he can call home and be happy! Originally tweeted by Shashuri (@Xenuphrasis) on May 11, 2022.
Joining a team that has more losses than Burnley and Leeds. He was winning the Champions League two years ago. As long as he’s happy tho.! Originally tweeted by Kev Zardes (@KevinZardes) on May 11, 2022.
