After seeing the West Ham United v. Everton game film, Declan Rice was seen yelling at Tomas Soucek.
In the 1-0 loss to Everton on Sunday, West Ham captain Declan Rice was spotted yelling at his teammate Tomas Soucek.
The Hammers’ Premier League campaign has not gotten off to the greatest of starts as they are currently in the relegation zone after yet another defeat.
footage from the Toffees game has surfaced, demonstrating Soucek’s decision to pass the ball behind rather than play it forward, nearly allowing the opponent to capitalise in the final third.
West Ham Central posted this scene from the game’s second half through Twitter.
There is growing concern that Soucek is no longer at that level because of his results over the past year or two, which have been, to put it mildly, ordinary.
David Moyes won’t be pleased with what he’s witnessing from a player on whom he previously could have risked his home because it looks that his game has really diminished.
It’s time to give Flynn Downes a regular starting position or perhaps even ask Lucas Paqueta to join Rice in a double pivot.
A 3-4-3 could also be on the cards as Antonio can play as an inside forward and add to the Hammers’ goal threat.
However, for Soucek, we fear that he will not be a regular once football resumes from the international break and there will be few who can make a solid case for his inclusion anymore.
