The Best Selling Football Shirts In Europe Have Been Revealed With A Few Surprise
The top ten best-selling football shirts in Europe have been unveiled, with Bayern Munich taking the lead.
Lionel Messi left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain last summer, while Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Manchester United with a bang.
According to Euromerica Sport Marketing data, those two moves weren’t even enough to vault PSG or United into the top three.
According to the analysis, Bayern shipped 3.25 million shirts between January 2021 and December 2021, 200,000 more than second-placed Real Madrid.

Liverpool is in third place, United is fourth, and PSG is in ninth place despite having Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe among their ranks.
Here’s the full list of the top ten best selling shirts:
10. Manchester City – 1.08 million
9. Paris Saint-Germain – 1.18 million
8. Borussia Dortmund – 1.22 million
7. Chelsea – 1.31 million
6. Barcelona – 1.34 million

5. Juventus – 1.42 million
4. Manchester United – 1.95 million
3. Liverpool – 2.45 million
2. Real Madrid – 3.05 million
1. Bayern Munich – 3.25 million

Juventus is the only Italian team on the list, which could be due to the fact that they had Ronaldo until August, when he chose to return to Manchester United.
Veteran forward Edinson Cavani, who wore the number last season, presented Ronaldo with his legendary number seven shirt.
Following Ronaldo’s comeback, which resulted in significant financial profits for United, the Uruguayan international switched to number 21.
On the pitch, though, Ronaldo’s return hasn’t gone smoothly, as he’s currently without a goal for the first time in over 13 years.

The 37-year-old hasn’t scored in his last five games, which he hasn’t done since his first spell in England in December 2008.
In Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Burnley, he came off the bench and stormed off the pitch at full-time.
Messi has had a difficult time in France as well, according to sources, and he is currently dissatisfied at PSG.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side is 13 points clear at the top of Ligue 1, but Messi has only two goals in 13 games.
However, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner has performed far better in the Champions League, scoring five goals in five games.
