Bournemouth will be without three first-team players for their Premier League clash against Leeds United on Sunday [30 April], according to injury expert, Ben Dinnery.
January signing Hamed Traore is currently out with an ankle injury and is not expected to return before the end of the campaign with Dinnery stating he has a 25% chance of making it (Premier injuries).
Full-back Ryan Fredericks is also facing a spell out of action with no return date being recorded for him to return from a calf injury so is almost certainly ruled out of Sunday’s game.
Junior Stanislas is also ruled out of action for Gary O’Neil’s men with no return date being recorded but the Cherries should have Jack Stephens back in action having been ineligible to feature against his parent club Southampton in their crucial 1-0 win over the Saints on Thursday evening [27 April].
Must-win
It was such a pivotal result for O’Neil and his men as they all but confirmed their Premier League status for next season after a 1-0 win over their South Coast rivals Southampton on Thursday.
The Cherries have tasted an impressive upturn in form in recent weeks which has played a part in them now sitting in a healthy position in the Premier League table, seven points off the relegation places.
Leeds United face a tough battle on Sunday, facing off against a rejuvenated side filled with a lot of confidence the Vitality Stadium has proven a difficult place to go in recent weeks which means Javi Gracia and his men would need to pull off a huge miracle if they are to taste their first win in five games.
It is now last chance saloon for Leeds United as another defeat could well see them drop down into the relegation spots should other results go against them and considering their torrid form and performance levels right now, the Leeds United support could well be in for a difficult trip to the South Coast.
What kind of performance will we get from Leeds United on Sunday afternoon?
