Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League season at home has come to an end. Spurs won a nail-biting 1-0 victory over Burnley in N17 on Sunday, with Harry Kane scoring the game’s lone goal from the penalty spot.
It was Kane’s 16th league goal of the season, and it was essential as Spurs struggled, but Nick Pope was in good form against them, save superbly from Son Heung-min on many occasions.
The players returned to the ground after the last home game of the season, as is customary, to complete a lap of honour for the fans who had remained inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

One Hotspur members also presented their end-of-season trophies, with Son sweeping the board.
Kane stood in the front row as the players invited their family onto the ground for the lap of honour, strolling around the pitch with his wife Kate and small children. Fans also had a message for the popular frontman – STAY.
During the summer, there was a lot of talk about the England captain’s future, with Manchester City being prominently linked with a move for the striker.
However, while there was significant fan outrage during the early stages of the campaign, it has now been forgotten. With another transfer window approaching, it appears that Spurs supporters want their star player to stay.
Fans inside the stadium screamed loudly and proudly “Harry Kane, he’s one of our own” as Kane strolled around the pitch with his family.
It was another message to Kane that he is liked inside N17 and that the supporters want him to stay and be a part of Antonio Conte’s ambition.
