The new Premier League season for Tottenham will begin on Saturday at 3 p.m. when they visit Southampton in north London. Six new players joined the team this summer, and manager Antonio Conte will be looking to get Spurs off to a strong start as they fight for titles both domestically and in the Champions League.
After Conte replaced Nuno Espirito Santo as manager of Tottenham in November, the team’s fortunes took a sharp turn for the better. The Italian manager will be anxious for his squad to continue where they left off at the conclusion of the previous season.
Spurs could even feel prepared to make a run for the Premier League championship. Express Sport also examines the starting lineup Conte may choose against the Saints.

Goal keeper Hugo Lloris
Last year, Hugo Lloris was a rock in goal, and Conte will be counting on him to deliver throughout the upcoming season. The 35-year-old, who has 139 games for France, preserved 16 clean sheets in the Premier League and agreed to a new two-year deal in January.
Forwards – Kulusevski, Kane, Son
Tottenham has one of the strongest front lines in the Premier League, and this summer’s acquisition of Richarlison from Everton strengthened it even more.
The Brazilian international is suspended for the match against Southampton, thus Dejan Kulusevski, who impressed after joining from Juventus in the second part of the previous season, will get the start in attack.
Son Heung-min scored an incredible 23 goals in the Premier League last season, placing him joint-top among scorers. And the South Korean international will be aiming to lead the line once more alongside Harry Kane.
