The Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has insisted that, Chelsea striker Romelu lukaku has not lost his goal scoring form, when addressing the press.
He noted that, the forward will eventually get to the number he wanted him to have for the club by the end of the season knowing the current poor form of the striker.
The Belgium striker has only managed to score 5 goals in the PL this season. This is way far behind what the club actually wanted from their Macque signing.
Unfortunately, he got injured and went out for a period of a month with Covid19 isolation period, which had an impact to the form of the striker.
Since his comeback, the 28yr old has failed to record a single goal in his last 4 PL game and people have begun to raise voices of questions on Thomas Tuchel style of play using him as a main striker which has effect on his form.
Note for sure, he managed to score over 20 goals for Inter Milan in his two season stay at Italy. Not only that, he also managed to score over 12 goals in Manchester United 2018/19 season before his move to Italy.
The Chelsea manager is fully aware of the Situation.

From what Thomas Tuchel said, Lukaku is a lot of a world class goalscorer and he has shown that this season even with his irregularity.
Maybe he needs more time to adapt to Tuchel system of play, but the critisim on him is also justified, when he haven’t meet the expectations wanted from him.
