David Moyes has failed to address West Ham United fans at all over the winter break after actively keeping himself out of the media spotlight.
The Hammers endured a really tough end to the first half of the season, with three consecutive defeats in the Premier League dumping West Ham down to 16th in the table.
The poor results piled pressure on Moyes’ position at the club, and the Scotsman decided to use the winter break to get away from it all and enjoy some holiday time.
He jetted off to Florida for a personal holiday and has now returned to take training ahead of West Ham’s return on Boxing Day.
But one thing Moyes has failed to do since parting for the winter break is speak to fans. As reported by Hammers News, all 19 of the other Premier League managers have spoken to fans whether it be in interviews, press conferences or other forms of media on the club’s channels.

But Moyes has stuck true to his word of having a break, and West Ham fans are paying the price as a result.
The report adds that Moyes handed over all press duties during the club’s recent friendlies to assistants Mark Warburton and Billy McKinlay, showing just how desperate Moyes is to stay out of the media spotlight.
While it likely helps him focus on the job at hand, part of Moyes’ responsibilities as West Ham manager is to be transparent and open with fans – something he is actively avoiding at the moment.
With the Hammers now facing another friendly match against Fulham on Saturday afternoon, fans will be keeping an eager eye on who takes the post-match interviews and whether Moyes makes his first appearance in over a month.
